I am an IB Diploma candidate (DP2) at Ascend International School in Mumbai, taking Chemistry, Psychology and Economics at Higher Level alongside Math AA, English and Spanish at Standard Level.
My interests sit where manufacturing, markets and human behaviour meet — how factories cut waste, how investors read founders, and why people behave the way they do. My Extended Essay, titled “To what extent can music therapy help the development of social communication skills for children with autism spectrum disorder?”, explores the potential of music therapy to support social communication in children with autism.
Outside the classroom, I captained Yellow House to the House Cup, was selected to represent India in basketball, mentor Salaam Bombay Foundation's Fitness Monitors, who teach fitness in Mumbai's slum communities, and write and produce my own music.

I wrote and released my first single, “How Do I Know”, on Spotify and YouTube at the age of twelve, inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic; it has gathered around 3,000 views and streams. I am self-taught on piano, saxophone and guitar, and I have written and produced four original songs across pop and R&B, publishing one on Spotify.
For my school annual concert, I taught myself to play the saxophone in a short span of 3 months and performed “La Vie en Rose” as a vocalist and saxophonist on stage.
For my MYP Personal Project, I conceptualised and independently executed an original production combining songwriting, music production and artificial intelligence — writing the lyrics, composing the melody, using SoundVerse AI Studio for high-fidelity vocal replication, and producing, editing and publishing the track in GarageBand. Supervised by Mr Piyush Kuthethoor and Mr Kalim Khan, it earned the highest possible score of 7 and was recognised as the best Personal Project in school. From Grades 4 to 10 I performed as a vocalist, saxophonist, pianist and guitarist at roughly 10 school concerts, plus 4 outside performances and multiple open-mic nights.

In June 2025 I completed an intensive one-week programme at one of the world's leading music institutions. I developed skills in composition, lyric writing, melody development and music production while collaborating with students from a variety of cultural and musical backgrounds. I applied these techniques to my original music and participated in several open-mic nights.

My recognitions reflect consistent work across academics, music and sport. I achieved High Honours in Grade 11 for a grade average of 6.0 or higher, after earning Honours in both Grade 9 and Grade 10.
In Grade 11 I ranked 1st in the entire grade in Math AA SL, and I scored 50/56 in the MYP Grade 10 examinations, well above the global median of 37.77.
My MYP Personal Project, an original music production combining songwriting, music production and artificial intelligence, achieved the highest possible score of 7 and was recognised as the best Personal Project in school. The Personal Project is a major independent capstone completed in Grade 10, internally assessed by school supervisors and externally moderated by the IB.

I worked directly with the Founder and Managing Partner of Ayra Ventures, an early-stage consumer-focused private equity firm, on an active transaction and a firm-wide research priority. My consumer analysis of D2C bakery brand Crème Castle fed directly into the investment memo and the Investment Committee's discussion on a deal that was ultimately cleared.
I also built Ayra's first consolidated reference database of 126 listed Indian consumer companies via screener.in, covering revenue, market cap, sales multiples and EBITDA margins.
I presented a new-age versus legacy comparison that helped settle which sectors the firm would focus its thesis and deal sourcing around, and I prepared a market-sizing and diligence one-pager on pet-care brand Muttley Crew.

In June 2025 I interned at Hikal, a Mumbai-founded pharmaceutical and speciality chemicals company that manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients for global life-sciences clients across five facilities in India. I learned how medicines are made at scale and how production is kept safe, clean and efficient, and observed how manufacturing waste is managed under regulation.
As an independent project, I tracked packaging waste over two weeks and costed recycling against disposal, finding recycling roughly 8% cheaper — significant at scale. Conversations with plant teams showed me that whether packaging actually gets sorted often depends on workers' daily habits as much as on the economics.

I conceptualised and run a three-part masterclass series for Grades 10 to 12, aimed particularly at students taking IB Business Management. I sourced every speaker and designed the programming myself, coordinating each session's themes with the Business Management teacher so the talks connect with what students are studying.

Elected Vice Captain through a house-wide vote in 2024–25, I progressed to House Captain the following year. Yellow House had finished last the previous year; under my captaincy we won the House Cup with 3,200 points, a margin of roughly 150, with Ubuntu, Sports Day and the Band competition proving decisive.
We won the Ubuntu trophy, the school's inter-house Humanities competition. For Ubuntu, the inter-house Humanities competition, I recruited participants from Grades 6 to 11 for their skill sets, coordinated the team across grades and personally competed in every Senior event.
At Sports Day we finished 2nd, only 30 points behind Blue House, despite fielding 24 participants against roughly 35 for each other house — I kept the team pushing while competing only in the High Jump because of an injury.
Co-Captain, School Basketball Team (2024–2026): I share leadership of the school basketball team, balancing competitive play in interschool tournaments with the demands of the IB Diploma Programme.

In June 2026 I was selected as one of 12 students across India to represent ISSO India at the ISF World School Basketball Championship in Zlatibor, Serbia.
At Ascend, I am a founding member of the school basketball team, and over five years we competed in 18 ISSO interschool tournaments and medalled in every one; I was named MVP in 2 tournaments and Best Shooter.

Across school athletics meets, I have been a consistent silver and gold medallist in the 100m, 200m and high jump. I established myself as one of the school's top performers on the track and in the field, and my personal best in the high jump stands at 5 ft 4 in. Beyond the track, I enjoy long-distance running, including the 10K at the Tata Mumbai Marathon.

For the 2025 Tata Mumbai Marathon I raised ₹1.6 lakh for Vipla Foundation, for its Special Care Centre, which supports 220 children with hearing impairment and intellectual disabilities, and I also raised ₹22,000 for Diwali snacks for 220 Special Care Centre children with intellectual disability and hearing impairment. I have registered to run the 10K for Vipla again in January 2027 and recruited two classmates to run with me.
Since August 2026 I have mentored Salaam Bombay Foundation's Fitness Monitors, aged 17 to 19, who teach fitness within slum communities — strengthening their communication and leadership, introducing new routines, and taking part in Gully Fitness at a Ganpati pandal.
